REASONS YOU NEED A SMOKING CESSATION PROGRAM FOR YOUR BUSINESS

If an employee smokes an average of one pack of cigarettes per day while working, it is costing you up to 2 hours of lost time each day.

If your company has the rule that your employee can only smoke at designated locations; the employee takes about 10 minutes to get his desk ready to leave, gather their cigarettes and walk to the smoking area. It takes about 10 minutes to smoke the cigarette. Add another 10 minutes to get back to the desk and get the mind set on work again. That is about 30 minutes per cigarette. Conservatively, this person will do this at least 4 times a day. That equals 2 hours a day that you are paying each of your smokers to smoke. If your policy says, employees can only smoke on breaks or at lunchtime, I have a question for you. If their first break is at 10:15 and they want a cigarette at 9:30, what do you think happens to the quality of their work between 9:30 and 10:15?

When your smoking employees quit you will see a drop in your insurance premiums.

Evaluation

The Stop Smoking Clinic of America, Inc. goes to your place of employment, Nationwide, for 5 or more people. Cecelia LePage will give an introductory meeting for all of your interested smoking employees. This meeting discusses;

1. An evaluation of their smoking addiction

2. Reasons why people smoke

3. Benefits of quitting smoking

4. All about our program

5. How, if any, the company is participating

This meeting takes one hour. It is usually on a Monday.

The participants of this meeting are given Volume I of the book THE ULTIMATE HI-TECH WAY TO QUIT SMOKING FOREVER.

Pre-Therapy

This meeting also last one hour. It is usually on the next day, Tuesday. This is a meeting for the ones who signed up on Monday. The purpose of this meeting is to start preparing the client to quit smoking. The participant is given a talk and is given Volume II of the book THE ULTIMATE HI-TECH WAY TO QUIT SMOKING FOREVER. Assignments are given that will;

1. Make the person very aware of every cigarette they smoke

2. Get the participant psyched up and ready to quit.

Therapy

The following Monday will be the quit date for the class. At this time I will meet with them five consecutive days for two and a half hours per day. During these meetings I will use all of the above methods.

The smoker investment for this program is $385.00. If payroll deduction is possible that is our recommendation. We can make other suggestions concerning cost during our meeting.
